I gained 100 lbs in college, it took me being almost at my halfway point in my weight loss to say that. My weight has fluctuated since elementary school. For as long as I can remember my life has been filled with conversation surrounding food consumption, calories, and carbohydrates. That kind of existence can cripple your confidence, and it did until I learned as an adult to quiet the noise of the world and ask myself - what did I want for my life and my body. Using my platform to promote body acceptance is important to me because falling in love with myself literally saved my life.

As a body positivity advocate it is my mission to

  • cultivate safe space events to build self-esteem

  • address preventative methods to establish a healthy relationship with food and exercise

  • debunk stereotypes regarding eating disorders and offer assistance to those typically left out of the conversation
